A stylish writing implement for home, office, or purse, our pen adds decorative flair. It recalls an iridescent Favrile glass vase with a peacock feather motif in The Metropolitan Museum of Art's collection, which was produced about 1900 by the Tiffany Glass and Decorating Company.

Louis Comfort Tiffany (American, 1848–1933) embodied the artistic spirit of America's Gilded Age. In the early 1890s, he developed a method of blending different colors together in glass while it was in a molten state, thus achieving subtle effects of shading and texture. He called this type of glass Favrile (from fabrile, an Old English word meaning "handwrought").
